7th/8th & 9th November, 2010
We stayed at Coolangatta Kirra Beach Holiday Park.
Coolangatta has changed since our last (separate) visits in our teenage years, when along the beach were guest houses which supplied a bed and 3 meals a day, they also organised different outings and boat cruises.
Now they are all high rises. After our trip down memory lane we ended up in Evans Head.

10th & 11th November we stayed at Evans Head
Evans Head history started in 1917, an Italian immigrant came to Evans Head, he was a child aboard the ill-fated Marquis de Ray expedition.
Goanna Headland between Joggly Point and Snapper Rock was the subject of one of the first Aboriginal land claims.

31st Oct. we ended up in Marlborough caravan park, well a very unkept park with Guinea Fowls running around and green Frogs in every toilet, you would have to see it to believe.
1st Nov. we arrived at Hervey Bay Big 4 caravan park, a nice park.
We were very impressed with Hervey Bay and stayed 2 nights - had dinner at the RSL club.
3rd Nov. we arrived at Noosa, stayed 2 nights, I checked out the designer wear shops.
Noosa is always enjoyable with plenty of things to do, Jet Ski, Island cruise, swim or snorkl.
5th Nov. we stayed at Hibiscus Holiday Park, Caloundra because Warren wanted to catch up with his Uncle Ray.
6th/7th and 8th Nov. we are staying at Kirra Beach Tourist Park,Gold Coast.
After leaving Caloundra we went to Steve Irwin's Australian Zoo. A very well kept and organised area, we saw the Wildlife Warriors show with elephants, snakes, birds and crocs etc.
